The Darkness

The Darkness is back! I last shot them 8 years ago. We shot in the French Quarter a few hours before their show in New Orleans. I hired a horse drawn carriage because I thought it suits them. We used the carriage to get around also. I rented instruments from a local music store, but ended up asking jazz musicians on the street also to lend us their instruments. Some of the musicians assumed the roles of traffic coordinators.

The main poster image was shot in camera, the image on his hands was shot just minutes earlier, then fed to a projector to do the double image illustrating the character's split personality.
