Julian Casablancas

This portrait of Julian Casablancas (former Strokes frontman) was shot for the "having a drink with..." section of Q Magazine. Russ, the photo editor, asked me to shoot him in a bar or pub. The problem: Julian is sober these days. I opted for empty and tipped over glasses.

I shot these ads for Intel with Venables Bell & Partners, AD Ana Maria Osorio, CD Paul Foulkes, AB Debbie Mobley, produced by Michael McClellan for Rasmussen Print. We spent two days of shooting architectural plates on location, and two days shooting people in studio.

Rufus

Rufus Wainwright for Q. We shot at the Steinway showroom on 57th. The mood was very somber, his mom had passed away the week before, he played the piano through most of the shoot.
