Dolly Parton has sold 174 million albums worldwide. She is releasing her 83rd album this year. I went to Nashville for the shoot, but Dolly was sick. We rescheduled in London. I surely did a lot of flying for this picture, but I got to meet Dolly.

Louis CK

I shot Louis CK at Milk Studios in a set built manhole, then relocated the image to Cortland Alley. The rat is taxidermy, Louis CK did not want her near him, but eventually warmed up to her and ultimately started petting her.

Ten o'clock live is a new show on Channel 4 hosted by some of Britain's funniest comedians, David Mitchell, Jimmy Carr, Charlie Brooker and Lauren Laverne, who comment on the latest news in a format that is itself a spoof of how the news is presented on television.

I went to a beauty pageant in Texas. It was a very interesting day, experiencing the efforts that go into the making of a beauty queen. I shot throughout the day. After the crowning I photographed the winners: The money shots are my money shots.
